Rainwater Harvesting
A pump is the key component when harvesting rain water efficiently. Collecting rain from your roof can reduce surface water by approximately 60% per plot.
Rainwater harvesting in the UK has increased by approximately 300% in the last two years and the payback period can be as quick as 3 years on buildings with large roofs and a high non-potable water demand. The most common requirement is to move collected water from a storage tank to a header tank from which it is used to water gardens or gravity feed toilet systems. These pumps can pump up to 30 metres high, so are ideal for use and in multi-storey buildings. Float switches are also available to continuously control the level of water in your system.
